The “Play It Loud: Instruments of Rock and Roll” exhibition will be presented at NYC’s Metropolitan Museum of Art starting April 8.

Eddie Van Halen has shared a few shots of the Van Halen instruments featured at the “Play It Loud: Instruments of Rock and Roll” exhibition that will be presented at NYC’s Metropolitan Museum of Art from April 8 to October 2019.

The exhibit is curated from 70 private and public collections in the U.S. and U.K., featuring over 130 instruments used by such icons as Jimi Hendrix, The Rolling Stones, Metallica, Jimmy Page, The Beatles, Chuck Berry, and more.

Some of the legendary pieces include Eric Clapton’s “Blackie,” Eddie’s “Frankenstein,” Jerry Garcia’s “Wolf,” and more. It will be opened to the public on April 8.

Apart from the “Frankenstein,” the exhibit will feature Eddie’s full 1978 touring rig.
